Krejčí appears in the starting line-up; Zošák delighted by qualifying for the Champions League

Sparta Prague’s players did not succeed in the second leg of the Champions League, losing in Žilina 0:1 after their home 0:2 defeat.

Josef Chovanec, Sparta's manager, made several changes in the line-up from to the previous games. Ladislav Krejčí appeared in the starting line-up for the first time this season. He made a few good passes and moves, none of which led to scoring, unfortunately. Thus, Sparta’s players may only look forward to games in the basic group of the European League.

Conversely, it’s Žilina’s Štefan Zošák who played several minutes before the end of the second leg’s game, who rejoices in the qualification for the dreamt-of Champions League. He, along with the rest of Žilina, awaits matches against Chelsea London, Olympic Marseille and Spartak Moscow at the group stage of the Champions League.
